Statewide Compliance Testing™has introduced Statewide Drug Residue Surface Screening & Testing™— a important service designed to help businesses, realestate, property managers and organisations identify potential traces of selected drug residues on surfaces.
 

During the manufacture of methamphetamine and other illicit drugs, chemical residues can settle on surfaces such as walls, floors, carpets, benchtops and ventilation systems. These residues can remain long after a drug laboratory has been removed.
 

Exposure to these contaminants may cause health effects such as skin irritation, headaches and respiratory problems.

Using specialist surface sampling methods, we collect targeted samples from areas where drug residue may be present. Laboratory analysis is available through our NATA-accredited testing partner when required.

Laboratory Analysis

Collected samples will be submitted for appropriate laboratory analysis to identify and measure selected drug residues, subject to the laboratory's testing capabilities.
 

1. STAT - Rapid Methamphetamine Surface Screening Service (5-Min Results)

Statewide Compliance Testing™ provides onsite rapid methamphetamine surface screening to identify a semi quantitative residue contamination on nominated property surfaces. Each test screens one surface and provides a presumptive positive or negative result within approximately five minutes, at a detection cut-off of 0.5 µg per 100 cm².
 

The service includes:

• UV pre-screening of nominated areas*.

• Targeted surface residue screening.

• Rapid screening test kits and consumables included.

• Photographic documentation of screening locations and findings.

• Formal, compliance-focused reports outlining the screening process and results.

• Clear documentation of presumptive non-negative or negative findings.

Note: *UV screening is a preliminary visual assessment and does not confirm the presence or absence of methamphetamine. Rapid screening results are presumptive; laboratory analysis may be required for confirmation.

2. STAT - Methamphetamine & Precursor Screen & Test (6 Substances)

Statewide Compliance Testing™ provides an expanded surface residue screening service designed to identify potential methamphetamine and precursor chemical contamination on nominated property surfaces. This service incorporates screening in accordance with NIOSH Method 9111, providing a more comprehensive assessment of selected substances through targeted surface sampling and testing.

The service includes:

• UV pre-screening of nominated areas.

• Targeted surface sampling using appropriate collection methods.

• Methamphetamine and precursor chemical screening.

• Screening for six (6) selected substances such as ephedrine, pseudoephedrine and other selected analytes within the nominated panel.

• NIOSH Method 9111 screening procedure.

• Test kits and consumables included.

• Photographic documentation of sampling locations and findings.

• Formal, compliance-focused reports documenting the sampling process and results.

Note: The scope of analytes, detection limits and reporting outcomes are subject to the selected testing method and laboratory arrangements. Screening results should not be represented as laboratory-confirmed findings unless confirmatory analysis has been performed.

3. STAT Comprehensive Illicit Drug Screen & Test (14 Substances)

Statewide Compliance Testing™ provides an expanded surface residue screening service designed to identify potential traces of a broad range of illicit drugs and related substances across nominated property surfaces. This comprehensive option screens for 14 selected substances, providing a broader assessment of potential surface residue contamination. This service incorporates screening in accordance with NIOSH Method 9111, providing a even more comprehensive assessment of selected substances through targeted surface sampling and testing.

The service includes:

• UV pre-screening of nominated areas.

• Targeted surface sampling using appropriate collection methods.

• Screening for forteen (14) selected substances such as ephedrine, pseudoephedrine and other selected analytes within the nominated panel.

• NIOSH Method 9111 screening procedure.

• Comprehensive illicit drug residue screening panel.

• Test kits and consumables included.

• Photographic documentation of sampling locations and findings.

• Formal, compliance-focused reports outlining the sampling process and results.

• Clear documentation of screening findings for client review.
