Australian Standards

AS/NZS 4308:2023 — Procedures for specimen collection and the detection and quantitation of drugs of abuse in urine. Our urine screening procedures are developed with reference to the relevant Australian Standard, with attention to specimen collection, identification, documentation and chain of custody.
 

Screening Results & Laboratory Confirmation
Onsite urine screening provides an initial preliminary result for the selected drug panel.

Negative Result: No drugs detected at or above the screening device's specified cut-off levels.

Non-Negative Preliminary Result: Indicates a possible presence of a targeted substance and requires further laboratory analysis for confirmation.
 

Screening & Laboratory Confirmation

Onsite urine screening provides preliminary results for the selected drug panel. 
Any non-negative preliminary screening result requiring confirmation can be referred to our NATA-accredited laboratory for further analysis, subject to the applicable testing arrangements.
